Hi everyone!
I wanted to share why updates have been a bit slower than expected, and why it might still be a few months before we see a new version. Rest assured, I’m still working on the software, but as a single developer who also became a father a year ago, I’ve had less time to code than usual. It’s not realistic for me to code until midnight, especially since I’m already working 6 days a week on a full-time job.
Another reason for the delay is that we’ve received fantastic feedback from users, and we’re focusing on enhancing features and making the app easier to use, rather than adding more features. Stability is a key area we want to improve, and to do that, we need to tweak our engine code, which takes time to ensure nothing breaks.
I want to reassure all users, whether they’re paying or not, that Fuse Caption Studio 3 is still on track, but I can’t give a specific release date just yet. However, I can promise to make the experience better and make Fuse Caption Studio the go-to AI Captioning tool.
As time goes on, I’m also working on new documentation and tutorials to help users get started without feeling overwhelmed.
I’m really aiming to create something I’m proud of, with clear improvements in each update. That’s why FCS 3 has taken longer than I initially thought.
Please keep using the current versions, and if you run into any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Yours truly,
Miguel Carvalho.
